1. Personal Data

When using this website (for example, subscribing to a newsletter, filling out a contact form, etc.), personal data may be collected by SEREC.

The term “personal data” refers to information that identifies you, such as your name, date of birth, email address, or postal address.

The main purpose of this data collection is to enable SEREC to provide you with access to the information and services offered, and to send you updates or communications from SEREC and/or its partners — subject to your prior consent.

SEREC is the recipient of the collected personal data, along with any service providers that may act on its behalf to deliver the requested services.

SEREC retains your data only for as long as necessary (a maximum of 18 months), in compliance with legal and ethical requirements regarding data storage, reporting, and documentation.

1.2. Confidentiality and Security of Personal Data

SEREC is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of the personal data it holds and to preventing unauthorized access by third parties, except as provided in these Terms of Use.

SEREC also undertakes to use its best efforts to implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data in accordance with these Terms and with applicable legal requirements.

1.3. Right of Access

In accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your personal data, as well as the right to limit processing where applicable. You may also object to the processing of certain personal data for legitimate reasons.

These rights can be exercised by postal mail at SEREC’s address, by phone at +212 5 22 20 33 05, or by email at serec@serec.ma.

Your personal data is used exclusively by SEREC, as the data controller, and will be retained only for the time necessary to process your request. For newsletter subscriptions, data will be retained for the duration of your subscription.
